In a move aimed at making advanced home technologies more accessible to Nigerians, LG Electronics Nigeria and Ecobank Nigeria have entered into a strategic partnership to provide flexible financing solutions for the purchase of LG’s AI‑powered smart appliances and devices. [1]

The collaboration was officially unveiled in Lagos, with a theme of “From Screens to Scenes with AI Smart TVs.” Under the arrangement, Ecobank will offer Easy Monthly Installment (EMI) and Buy‑Now‑Pay‑Later plans spanning up to 24 months, enabling consumers to acquire LG Smart TVs, refrigerators, washing machines and air‑conditioners without large upfront payments. Speaking at the launch, Ecobank’s Head of Distribution Channels & Sales, Dr. Adeola Ogunyemi, stated that the initiative is aimed at “democratising smart living by making premium AI‑powered devices within reach of more Nigerians”.
