*Joshua Apajukun:* Thank you for speaking with us. Please tell us about yourself and what inspired this political move?
*Illah Lot Ajeh (ILA):* Thank you. My name is Illah Lot Ajeh. I’m from Agwade, (Kaduna Koro) in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. My declaration is not just political—it’s deeply personal. I’m driven by the *cry and pain of my people*, the *yearning for development*, and the *call to serve*. This isn’t just an aspiration; it’s a *mission* rooted in compassion and vision.
—
*Joshua Apajukun:* You talk about a new political conscience—what does that mean?
*ILA:* The *rise of a new political conscience* is both a *vision and a mission* aimed at ushering in a *fresh era in our political landscape*. It’s about raising men and women who will uphold this cause—people who will replace poor governance with *accountable, people-centered leadership*. It’s a call to move from empty politics to *real service and responsibility*.
—
*Joshua Apajukun:* How is this movement different from what Nigerians are used to?
*ILA:* This is a movement to *usher in a New Political Conscience Era*. It’s about *ideas, not money*; *vision, not ambition*; *service, not power*. Our politics must evolve beyond slogans and begin to deliver real results. We need leaders who see politics as a platform for transformation—not self-enrichment.
—
*Joshua Apajukun:* What key challenges in Lafia/Obi are you aiming to tackle?
*ILA:* The needs are pressing—*effective representation*, *infrastructure development*, *youth empowerment*, and *constitutional reforms*. There’s an overwhelming desire among our people to be heard, to be served, and to see progress. I aim to give them that voice through *accountable, inclusive leadership*.
—
*Joshua Apajukun:* You’ve spoken passionately about youth. What role do they play in your vision?
*ILA:* The youth are not just the future—they are the *now*. We must empower them through skills, education, policy inclusion, and opportunities. My leadership will prioritize *youth innovation, civic participation*, and real constituency engagement.
—
*Joshua Apajukun:* What message do you have for your constituents?
*ILA:* To my people in Lafia/Obi, I say: this is *our time*. Together, we can birth a new era. I’m not coming to make promises—I’m coming to serve with *vision, integrity, and action*. Let us rise together.
—
*Joshua Apajukun:* Final words?
*ILA:* God bless Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency. God bless Nasarawa State. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
