Tinubu Mourns Awolowo’s Grandson, Olusegun!

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Olusegun Awolowo Jr. (62), grandson of the late statesman Obafemi Awolowo and former Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC).
“He lived a purposeful life devoted to family and nation. Nigeria has lost both a dedicated servant and an icon,” President Tinubu said in a statement.
The death, announced by the Awolowo family, has prompted tributes across Nigeria’s political and business spheres.
