The new branch aims to focus on delivering high-quality, people-centered journalism that highlights both national and regional stories affecting Malawi and its citizens. Sele Media Malawi will also promote African development stories, social change, and youth voices, while working with skilled journalists and correspondents across the country. Its official website, www.selemalawi.com, is already active and will serve as a central hub for news, analysis, and features.

As a subsidiary of Sele Media Africa, the Malawian branch will operate under the core values of integrity, neutrality, and innovation. The expansion comes at a time when digital media is increasingly becoming a vital tool for civic engagement, public awareness, and democratic growth across Africa.

The Managing Director (MD) for Sele Media Malawi is expected to be announced soon, and the platform is already preparing to begin full operations, including local content publishing, regional collaborations, and social media engagement.
