BREAKING: Alleged Bandit Collaborators Arrested in Kogi!
Reported by Marian Opeyemi Fasesan | Sele Media Africa
Security forces in Egbe, Yagba West LGA of Kogi State, have arrested two suspected informants and logistics suppliers to bandits. The suspects were nabbed by the Yagba West Joint Security Task Force during a coordinated operation.
Authorities say the suspects were caught supplying drugs, food, and intelligence to armed groups operating in forest zones near the Kogi–Kwara border. The Kogi State government has not yet released their names but confirmed that an investigation is ongoing.
This follows recent warnings from the State Security Adviser about local collaborators fueling insecurity in the region.
