Brentford striker Yoane Wissa has publicly called on the club to honor what he claims was a prior agreement to allow his departure, as Newcastle United intensify efforts to secure his signature before the transfer window closes.

The 28-year-old Congolese forward expressed frustration over Brentford’s rejection of Newcastle’s latest offer, reportedly valued at £35 million plus £5 million in add-ons. Wissa asserts that he was previously assured—both verbally and in writing—that he could leave if a reasonable bid was received.
