Lafia, Nasarawa State – In a bold and passionate declaration of intent, Mr. Illah Lot Ajeh, a native of Agwade (Kaduna Koro) in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, has officially announced his aspiration to represent the Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking exclusively with Sele Media Africa’s correspondent, Mr. Ajeh emphasized that his ambition is driven not by personal gain but by a compelling sense of duty to serve the people.
“This is not just an aspiration; it is a vision. Not an ambition, but a mission,” he stated confidently. “Our people are in dire need of a new political era—one driven by vision, ideas, and sacrifice, not by money or selfish ambition.”
Mr. Ajeh described his campaign as a movement for a New Political Conscience Era, one that places integrity, development, and community empowerment at the heart of representation.
He explained that his call to public service was inspired by the cry and pain of the masses, especially the youth and vulnerable in the constituency who have long suffered neglect and political betrayal.
“The demand for effective representation, the agitation for real constituency empowerment, the need for better infrastructure, and constitutional reform—these are not abstract dreams. They are urgent demands from real people whose voices have been silenced for too long,” he told Sele Media.
As part of his agenda, Mr. Ajeh promised to focus on people-centered legislation, development projects, and youth inclusion, while pushing for reforms that bring transparency and accountability into government.
“Politics must not be about empty promises. We need a politics of performance, where public office holders are evaluated by their service, not slogans,” he added.
Using the hashtags #YouthArise, #TheServantLeader, and #TheReignofRighteousness, Mr. Ajeh is positioning himself as a youthful, visionary leader ready to drive a new era of ethical, inclusive, and transformative leadership in Nasarawa State.
He concluded by reaffirming his readiness to serve:
“I stand ready to represent Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency with integrity, vision, and a deep passion for service. Together, we can rise.”
God bless Lafia/Obi. God bless Nasarawa State. God bless Nigeria.
