UNIBEN Releases 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Results
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has officially released the results of the 2025/2026 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) and Post-Direct Entry (PUDE) screening exercises. Candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Tests (CBT) held from September 1 to September 6, 2025, can now access their results online.
To check their results, candidates are advised to:
1. Visit the UNIBEN Kofa portal at www.waeup.uniben.edu.
2. Log in using the username and password created during the application process.
3. Navigate to the bottom of the page to view their PUTME/PUDE results displayed below their JAMB scores.
The screening exercise was conducted at designated centers within the university’s Ugbowo Campus, adhering to strict COVID-19 protocols to ensure the safety of all participants. Candidates were required to have chosen UNIBEN as their first choice institution and scored a minimum of 200 in the UTME to be eligible for the screening. Additionally, they were expected to possess at least five credit passes at O’Level, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
The release of these results marks a significant step in the 2025/2026 admission process. Candidates who meet the required cut-off marks will proceed to the next stages, which may include departmental screenings and the release of admission lists. The university has not yet announced the specific dates for these subsequent stages.
For further updates and information regarding the admission process, candidates are encouraged to regularly visit the official UNIBEN website and stay tuned to Sele Media Africa.
