Troops have successfully rescued nine kidnapped individuals from Garin Bature village, located in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

According to a report by Channels Television, the victims include three adult women and six children, all of whom were abducted by armed assailants.

The rescue operation is part of ongoing efforts by security forces to tackle the rising cases of banditry and kidnapping in the region. The condition of the rescued victims has not been officially disclosed, but authorities have confirmed they are now safe.
