In an utterly heartbreaking incident that has shocked many, a young interior decorator named Deborah from Benue State lost her life in the most horrific way — murdered by her ex-boyfriend, Lintex Ogale, who had long harbored dangerous obsessions.

Deborah had ended their relationship in August 2023, citing repeated episodes of abuse, control, and toxicity. Despite walking away, Lintex reportedly refused to accept the breakup, making disturbing threats over time — particularly the chilling phrase:
⁠“If I can’t have you, no man will.”

Fast forward to 2025, Lintex turned those words into a nightmare reality.

On the day of the attack, he disguised himself as a dispatch rider to gain entry into Deborah’s estate. When security personnel blocked his access, he reportedly scaled the fence, broke into her apartment, and brutally murdered her.

In a failed attempt to evade justice or perhaps silence his guilt, Lintex tried to take his own life, but was overpowered by residents and handed over to police.This tragedy is not just another case of domestic violence — it is a wake-up call.
