President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is making a solemn trip to Jos, Plateau State, today, October 4, 2025, to attend the funeral prayers for Nana Lydia Yilwatda Goshwe, mother of APC National Chairman Prof. Nantewe Yilwatda. [1]

In addition to the funeral, Tinubu is scheduled to address northern church leaders at the COCIN Church headquarters in Jos. [2]

The presidential visit also carries a message of solidarity and grief, following the recent killing of travellers en route to Jos.Tinubu publicly condemned the atrocity and called on security agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice. [3]

His presence in Jos is thus both a personal gesture and a broader appeal for peace, faith collaboration, and national healing.
