Tinubu Inaugurates Tantita Projects at Sultan Bello Mosque, Kaduna
Kaduna — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has formally commissioned major infrastructural upgrades at the Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna, executed by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), under the chairmanship of Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo. A modern ablution centre built to accommodate 300 worshippers at a time. 50 restrooms, including VIP sections. A 300,000‑litre overhead water tank to serve both the mosque and the surrounding Ungwan Sarki community. Tinubu described the project as “a demonstration of unity and corporate responsibility transcending regions and faiths.” The mosque’s leadership, including the Chief Ladan, Malam Abdurrahman Abdulhamid, expressed gratitude, noting the facility had been a stalled project for over three years before Tantita took over. Residents of the Ungwan Sarki community welcomed the improvements, particularly the reliable water supply and improved sanitation. These facilities are expected to drastically improve the worship and hygiene conditions at Sultan Bello Mosque, particularly during busy congregational times like Friday prayers. The project also underscores increasing private sector involvement in fulfilling local infrastructure needs, especially through corporate social responsibility initiatives.
