In a moving tribute that has touched hearts across Plateau State, St. Joseph College Vom (CSJ Vom) — one of the state’s oldest and most respected secondary schools — has bid farewell to their beloved seminarian, Bro. Joachim Chuwang Gyang, after a remarkable period of service.
In a heartfelt post shared on their official Facebook page, CSJ Vom Josephites, the school community poured out their appreciation for Bro. Joachim’s spiritual leadership, humility, and positive impact.
“We're not sure what kind of angelic food you were eating, but your dedication to your pastoral duties was truly something else,” the post read, capturing the mix of admiration and emotion felt by students and staff alike.
Known for transforming the school choir into what students called a “heavenly choir,” Bro. Joachim was praised not only for his musical gifts but for his ability to guide students through spiritual growth with wisdom, patience, and humor.
“You taught us that true leadership isn't about control but about walking alongside people and showing them the way,” they wrote.
As Bro. Joachim moves into the next phase of his formation, the CSJ community expressed confidence in his future, calling him “destined for great things.”
Sele Media Africa joins the community in wishing Bro. Joachim Chuwang Gyang grace, strength, and divine guidance as he continues his journey in God’s vineyard.
