Former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Dr. Simon Mwadkwon, has paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the family of the late Hon. Fom Dakwak, describing the late statesman as a virtuous leader whose legacy will endure across generations.
During the visit to the family residence, Senator Mwadkwon eulogized Hon. Dakwak as a man devoted to both God and public service, highlighting his transformative role in Plateau State’s health sector and community development. As former Chairman of Barkin Ladi Local Government and Commissioner for Health, Dakwak championed impactful policies that improved healthcare access and governance in the region.
Senator Mwadkwon also reflected on the late Dakwak’s role as a mentor and father figure in Plateau North’s political space, stating that his wisdom and guidance helped raise many leaders contributing to national progress.
“The passing of Hon. Dakwak is not only a loss to his family but to Barkin Ladi, Plateau North, and the entire state,” Mwadkwon stated. “His life of service, faith, and mentorship will be remembered as a beacon of hope and dedication.”He was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Diana Mwadkwon, and notable dignitaries including Hon. Phillip Jwe, Hon. Emmanuel Loman, and Hon. Fidelis Adara.
