Senate Denies 10m Bribery to Block Tinubu’s NERC Nominee!

The Nigerian Senate has strongly denied allegations that its leadership received a10 million bribe to obstruct the confirmation of President Bola Tinubu’s nominee, Abdullahi Ramat, as Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).
The accusation, which surfaced on social media and was amplified by some online platforms, was described as “baseless, mischievous, and an attempt to undermine the integrity of the National Assembly.”
“There is no truth to the claims. No such bribe was offered, received, or discussed,” Senate spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu stated.
