Who is Mr. Chisomo Phiri?

Mr. Phiri is an award-winning journalist with an impressive background in investigative reporting, feature writing, and digital media. His bylines have appeared in several of Malawi’s top publications, where he earned respect for his accuracy, ethical journalism, and balanced storytelling.

He holds a Diploma in Journalism and Media Studies and multiple certifications, including Digital Marketing, Digital and Multimedia Journalism, and the prestigious NBCU Certificate in Journalism.

Based in Blantyre, the economic hub of Malawi and now home to Sele Media Malawi’s headquarters, Mr. Phiri is set to lead the recruitment and development of a strong journalistic team that will uphold Sele Media’s core values: truth, innovation, and African-driven narratives.
