Awka, Anambra State — Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has called on members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to embrace the core values of discipline, patriotism, and responsibility as they begin their one-year national assignment in Anambra.
Speaking at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area, Soludo encouraged corps members to see their deployment not just as a statutory obligation but as a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
“Your presence here is a sign of unity and sacrifice. I urge you to prioritise service above self, promote peace, and be role models in your various places of primary assignment,” the governor said.
Governor’s Commitment to Youth & National Unity
Soludo reaffirmed his administration’s support for NYSC initiatives in the state and assured corps members of a secure, inclusive, and enabling environment. He urged them to see themselves as ambassadors of unity and agents of change in their host communities.
