President Bola Tinubu has officially disengaged a popular Special Assistant attached to the Office of the Vice President. The dismissal comes amid growing concerns about professionalism and public conduct within government circles.
Although the presidency did not release the full details behind the disengagement, sources claim the aide had been involved in activities considered inappropriate and misleading to the public.
In a brief statement, Tinubu’s office emphasized that “no individual is above the code of ethics expected from those in public service.” The President also warned the general public to disregard any official or unofficial statements made by the disengaged aide henceforth.
This move signals a renewed push from the presidency to maintain discipline and order within its ranks.
