The Niger State Police Command has rescued six trafficked children from a suspected human trafficking syndicate operating between Niger State and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Authorities confirmed the arrest of key suspects linked to the illegal transportation and sale of the minors.
“We intercepted the children during a discreet operation and have launched a full investigation into the network,” said DSP Wasiu Abiodun, the command spokesperson.
