NAFDAC Destroys N20bn Worth of Fake Products in Oyo!

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has destroyed counterfeit, expired, and substandard products valued at over N20 billion in Ibadan, Oyo State, in a massive clampdown on unsafe goods threatening public health.
The destruction exercise, which took place at the Aleshinloye area on Friday, included fake drugs, unwholesome processed foods, expired cosmetics, and other banned consumables seized across multiple states.
“This is a strong warning to unscrupulous merchants of death. NAFDAC will not relent in ensuring only safe products are available to Nigerians,” said Director-General Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye.
