JUsT IN:BYM KURU DISTRICT CONDEMNS THE GRUESOME KILLING OF SEVEN YOUTHS AT A MINING SITE

The Berom Youth Moulders (BYM), Kuru District, has vehemently condemned the gruesome and senseless killing of seven youths at a mining site in the Kuru area of Jos South Local Government Area, Plateau State, on Wednesday night. The tragic attack has thrown families and the entire community into profound mourning. According to multiple confirmations from security sources and community leaders, suspected armed bandits stormed the mining camp at Capitex, Kuru community, in the early hours, opening fire and killing seven individuals. Several other persons were also reportedly injured in the assault.

Community Grief and Outrage
In a strongly worded statement, the BYM described the incident as barbaric, unjust, and a blatant assault on the peace and dignity of their people. The association expressed deep sorrow over the loss of young lives, many of whom were husbands, fathers, and a minor youth, whose futures were abruptly cut short by violence. The association extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for God’s comfort and strength during this period of unbearable grief.
