IGP Egbetokun Represents Nigeria at 27th INTERPOL African Regional Conference in South Africa

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, is currently in Cape Town, South Africa, representing Nigeria at the 27th African Regional Conference of INTERPOL.
The high-level event, taking place from August 27 to 29, 2025, is being hosted at Century City and brings together police chiefs and INTERPOL heads from across the continent and other member states.
IGP Egbetokun is accompanied by a delegation of senior Nigerian police officers, including the Assistant Inspector-General in charge of INTERPOL, Nigeria. The conference is focused on strengthening regional and global cooperation to combat transnational crime, terrorism, cybercrime, and other security challenges confronting Africa.
The gathering provides a platform for knowledge exchange, strategy development, and the strengthening of security networks between African nations.
