Igbo elders take a bold stand at Abia govt house, demand Nnamdi kanu’s release!
Reported by David Joshua |Sele Media Africa
Tension rose today in Umuahia as a delegation of Igbo elders stormed the Abia State Government House, insisting on the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
With a mix of anger and determination, the elders warned that Kanu’s continued detention poses a grave threat to peace, unity, and stability in the South-East region.
They stressed that the Federal Government has no justification to keep him in custody while insecurity across Nigeria remains on the rise.
“For peace to return to Igbo land, Nnamdi Kanu must be set free without delay,” the elders declared.
This bold move has reignited national debate, leaving many Nigerians asking: Could this be the turning point for Kanu’s freedom?
