Popular Nigerian comedian, Osama Akpunonu, has publicly expressed his deep love and gratitude for Plateau State, calling it his home and vowing to remain a lifelong ambassador of the state. According to him, Golok played a pivotal role in giving his comedy a platform and connecting him to influential figures in the region.

He also used the opportunity to commend legendary comedian Julius Agwu and other veterans in the industry who supported his growth, stating that their encouragement kept him going during the early years of struggle.
