“I Was Cancelled by Nollywood for Refusing to Use Juju” – Hank Anuku Speaks Out

Veteran Nollywood actor Hank Anuku has stirred major conversation online after boldly claiming he was sidelined by the Nigerian movie industry for refusing to engage in fetish practices.

In a heartfelt revelation, Anuku said, “I was cancelled by Nollywood because I refused to mix juju with talent and creativity.”

The actor, known for his iconic American gangster accent and “bad boy” roles in the early 2000s, opened up about how he rose to fame but was later blacklisted due to his stance against spiritual manipulation.

“Some say I fell off because they think I do drugs, but you know nothing about Hanky. I’m the realest gee who would never use juju or whatever it’s called to push my talent,” he said.

Despite being shunned, Anuku affirmed he is still alive and surviving, and that’s what matters to him most.

His revelation has sparked mixed reactions across Nollywood and social media, with some praising his courage while others question the deeper realities of the industry.
