Governor Soludo Proposes New Airport to Anchor Anambra Industrial Park

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has unveiled plans to construct a new airport as part of a proposed Industrial City aimed at transforming the state into a major economic hub in Nigeria. This initiative is detailed in the state’s ₦410 billion budget, which outlines the development of three new urban centers: Awka 2.0, Onitsha 2.0, and a Mixed-Use Industrial City equipped with an Export Emporium and the potential for a future airport.
