FG Moves to End Joblessness, Launches National Job Centres Nationwide!

In a major effort to combat rising unemployment, the Federal Government has launched the National Job Centre Project, establishing a network of employability hubs across Nigeria to connect job seekers with opportunities and equip them with relevant skills.
What We Know:
- The initiative, spearheaded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, aims to provide career counselling, job matching, and training for young Nigerians.
- Centres will be sited in all 36 states and the FCT, with digital platforms also in development.
- The project is aligned with Nigeria’s commitment to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.

“This is more than a job portal — it’s a national human capital development effort,” said Minister of Labour Simon Lalong.
