Family of five found unconscious, one dead in Benue!

Tragedy struck in Akaajime community, Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State, on Wednesday as five members of the same family were found unconscious in their residence, with one person confirmed dead.

Residents raised alarm after noticing unusual silence from the household, prompting a rescue effort. The victims were immediately rushed to hospital, where doctors confirmed the death of one family member while others remain in critical condition.

The cause of the incident is yet to be officially determined, but authorities have launched an investigation. Community members suspect possible poisoning or suffocation, though police are awaiting medical reports for confirmation.
