COAS, Others Honour Late Army Chief Lagbaja with Special Prayers!

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu, on Friday led officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army in offering special prayers to honour the late former Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, who passed away on November 5, 2024.
The solemn ceremony, held across Army formations nationwide, featured Islamic and Christian prayers for the repose of Lagbaja’s soul and tributes to his service to Nigeria.
“Lt.-Gen. Lagbaja served with honour, integrity, and deep commitment to the Nigerian Army and the nation,” Shaibu said during the memorial.
