Tragedy struck in Bamenda, Mezam Division of Cameroon, as the Army Rescue Unit recovered the lifeless bodies of two children aged 9 and 10 who were swept away by sudden floodwaters following heavy rainfall near GTTC.The children’s bodies were discovered downstream at Mulang Street 4, days after the incident occurred. The rescue team, led by Senior Warrant Officer Taku Paul, is still searching for another man who is believed to have drowned at Mulang Street 3 during the same flood.Speaking to the press, Officer Taku Paul urged the public to stay indoors during heavy rains and to report such emergencies to rescue services immediately.
