Asencio to Stand Trial in Underage Sex Video Case

Real Madrid defender Raúl Asencio is set to face trial alongside three former Madrid youth team players in a legal case involving the non‑consensual distribution of a sexual video featuring a minor and another young woman, according to Spain’s judicial authorities. [1]

The case concerns an alleged incident from June 2023 in Gran Canaria, where video footage involving two girls — one aged 16 and the other 18 at the time — was shared without the consent of the parties involved. On September 2, a Las Palmas court declared the opening of oral proceedings against the four accused players. This decision is final and not subject to appeal.
