Nollywood actor Osita Iheme has penned an emotional tribute to his longtime friend and colleague Chinedu Ikedieze, recalling the impact he had on his personal and professional life. The heartfelt message was shared via Osita’s official Facebook page, sparking a wave of emotions among fans and fellow actors across Nigeria and beyond.

“Apart from acting, he was like a father to me, always giving advice that shaped who I am today. When I first joined Nollywood and felt lost, my colleague Chinedu gave me hope and reminded me that being short isn’t a crime. He told me, ‘Use your weakness to create strength,’” Osita wrote.

The duo, famously known for their roles in classic Nollywood comedies such as Aki na Ukwa, were not only iconic on screen but also shared a deep brotherhood behind the scenes. Osita described Chinedu as a “true hero,” revealing that he spoke seven languages, could interpret scripts instantly, and was always admired for his brilliance and uniqueness.

“Many times, after being paid, he would add part of his own money to ours. I wish he were still alive so I could thank him every day, but truly, a legend never dies,” Osita added.
