The Federal University, Dutse (FUD), in Jigawa State has expelled 20 students and suspended 15 others following confirmed cases of examination malpractice during the 2024/2025 academic session, reinforcing the institution’s stance on academic integrity and disciplinary accountability.
University authorities announced that the sanctions were approved after investigations conducted by the institution’s disciplinary and examination malpractice committees found the affected students culpable of violating established academic regulations.
According to the university management, the offences ranged from unauthorized possession of examination materials and collusion to other forms of conduct considered inconsistent with the institution’s academic code of ethics.
