The Ilorin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended 28 individuals suspected to be involved in internet-related fraud activities across different locations in Kwara State.

The operation, which was carried out following credible intelligence, led to the arrest of the suspects who are currently undergoing interrogation. Items recovered during the raid include laptops, mobile phones, and luxury vehicles believed to be proceeds of cybercrime.

The EFCC reiterated its commitment to rid the nation of internet fraud and warned youths against engaging in fraudulent activities as a means of livelihood.
