In a bizarre yet heart-wrenching twist of fate, rising but struggling Nigerian comedian McMajesty has allegedly been disowned and exchanged by his family for just two cups of garri and one sachet of pure water.

This shocking development comes after McMajesty reportedly sold his mother’s deep freezer for ₦7,000 to buy data — all in a desperate attempt to post his new comedy skit on Facebook. Sadly, the skit got only 2 views and one comment, which was ironically from his own parents warning:

⁠“If this video doesn’t hit 1K views before Sunday, we will post you on Temu with the tag ‘For Sale’.”

According to sources, including the family dog (yes, you read that right), McMajesty also stole a puppy and sold it to pay for Facebook verification, only for Facebook to block his account 3 days later.

Reports indicate that his village people recently bought a new spiritual mirror and have allegedly been monitoring him from the shrine, which may explain the string of unfortunate events surrounding the comedian.The once-promising skit maker is now on the run, and Selemedia Africa has been informed that his parents have officially disowned him and are calling for his arrest.
